Howard Johnson by Wyndham Oklahoma City OKC Airport, Fairgrounds, I40

The rooms were very comfortable from beds to showers. Pillows were an odd square shape but ok. Breakfast was good. Folks in other reviews said the man was mean. I didn't get that from him. He was fine an kind. You get what you give in respect. No complaints.

The location was easy to.find and was in a l9cation that made it simple to access places we wanted to visit while in Oklahoma City. We were travelling with pets and had to.pay a non refundable extra plus a 50 dollar refundable deposit, which was returned to.my debit card at checkout. The room was clean, comfortable, free wifi and very nice staff. We even met and spoke to other guests in passing and it was such a friendly atmosphere. I had only one issue with the hotel and that was a hole in the pavement at the front entrance. I fell there when going in to check out, because the shoe I had on stuck in a hole as I stepped up into the entrance. I have been limping for 3 days now, and I hope by mentioning this that they get that fixed! It was a kind of perfect storm moment as I had on a pair of slip on dress shoes that were pretty much the exact size of that hole. I didn't see it as I stepped out of my car and it caught my shoe. They didn't seem to think repairing that hole as important, but another person may have that fall and sue. I really liked the friendly staff at check in but the day staff people didn't seem in the least concerned when that fall happened other than one person thinking it was funny and another thinking it was OK because the he had been there a long time and she hadn't fallen... Still I would stay there again, but it's irresponsible of them not to take injury seriously on the property.

The room was clean,bed comfy, but it seems to take forever to get hot water for the shower and the sink.. the room keys worked good this trip. I still like the old style metal keys better tho. I loved that the guy helped fine my phone. By calling it while searched my truck and it was there.

My room was located in the back and had a fenced off area for the parking lot which made for low foot traffic in a high foot traffic area of the city super plus for that! And the staff was friendly and engaging sometimes motel staff can be cold and robotic and I didn’t get that from this location also there was a balcony door I stayed on the bottom floor and it made it convenient to just run to my car or just chill when it rained or just let the morning light in I enjoyed that also there is a $50 deposit with a card and $100 cash just a heads up

Location and staff were excellent! Driving from Houston to the location of the hotel in Oklahoma City was not difficult using my Google maps and had no problems staying at the hotel. Daniel ( front lobby staff ) greeted me when I arrived and felt at ease staying in the hotel. The facility provided the basic needs a guest like myself to stay comfortably in the hotel. Breakfast was also good and no complaints.
